The Art that Twists and Turns
For my two abstract art images I chose the two that I made using the gradient tool. I was inspired by layering and modern art. The one to my left is my favorite of the two because of the color combinations and the little fur-balls on the giant black and dark pink square. While the art I created in photoshop is not like Marla's from the movie I like it. I wouldn't do anything differently. I feel like either way you turn these pictures it works. This is interesting because the different layers provide a dimension that looks as if all the circles and squares are floating. Everything twists and turns which is very interesting for an art piece that is two dimensional. This project was hard for me because I work better with directions and pulling images from the Internet. For this project it was all about the tools in photoshop and using them to create something. I am glad how they both turned out.
